I have always loved dogs, and, like many of you, can trace my growing up by remembering the succession of our family pets.
After many years of designing textiles and graphics, the idea for Barkology appeared in the form of a Victorian studio portrait of a dapper pit bull. This became inspiration for a line that grew to include fashion, note cards, totes and mats, and was a total homage to my muse, the dog.
It's time to simplify, so I've gone back to design, licensing and custom work only. My good friends at BiS DOG are taking on distribution of Barkology® ball caps and Orvis continues to offer the Sleeps with Dogs® nightshirts. I'm open to and working on other licensing opportunities, and very glad to have more time to spend with my great dogs!
